About RunReel
RunReel turns your running route into a video — a greenscreen overlay you can drop onto your own footage, or a finished clip on a map.
Who makes it
I've been running for seven years, and I film my runs. I wanted my route and pace on my own footage without sending my runs anywhere, so I built RunReel. It has been live at runreel.app since 18 July 2026.
What I promise
- Free, all of it. No payment, no subscription, no trial.
- Your run file never leaves your device. It's read in your browser and the video is made on your device — nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. A map background is the one thing fetched from outside, and only if you choose one; the privacy policy says what that means.
- A small credit on every video. Each one carries “RunReel · runreel.app” in the corner. It's how other runners find the tool.
- No account and no ads, and your route is never sold. A running route is a home address.
Where to find RunReel
RunReel (런릴) is the website runreel.app — there's nothing to install. Its only official accounts are Instagram @runreelapp and YouTube @runreelapp. Apps in app stores with similar names aren't connected to RunReel.
